  • To get the best tattoo experience here are a few things to consider and be mindful of before your appointment

    • Eat a full meal before your appointment to keep your blood sugars stable and prevent lightheadedness, and manage pain better. Feel free to bring snacks for your appointment

    • Shower, and clean skin before your appointment. Moisturising regularly 1-2 weeks before your appointment will make the skin healthier, you can lightly exfoliate the skin a 3-4 days before the appointment, do so mindfully to avoid irritation in the area.

    • Wear comfortable clothing, loose fitting comfortable clothes that provide easy access to the area being tattooed. Keep in mind, tattoo ink can stain clothing, so choose appropriate clothes.

    • Get enough sleep before your appointment, fatigue can make the experience more painful.

    • Bring some entertainment, for longer sessions feel free to bring something with you as a distraction, headphones, a book , whatever makes you feel comfortable and relaxed.

    • Avoid excessive sun exposure, sun-damaged/sunburnt skin cannot be tattooed. Showing up to your appointment with a sunburn in the area will unfortunately lead to rescheduling the appointment until the skin is healed (2-4 weeks).

  • We will always explain the tattoo aftercare process and give an aftercare sheet following the appointment to ensure best healing, here are some of the basics to keep in mind after getting a new tattoo

    • Leave your bandage/ wrap on until told by your artist; we use different wraps depending on the tattoo, both methods stay on for different amounts of time, your artist will let you know what length of time is best for your tattoo.

    • Keep the tattoo clean and moisturised. This is the most important part for best healing results. Gently clean tattoo with warm water and fragrance-free soap after removing wrap, pat dry with paper towel (dont rub, or use towel!!) or leave to air-dry, apply a small amount of moisturiser ( cocoa butter is recommended by us) to dried skin. Continue cleaning and moisturising tattoo 2-3 times a day until healed.

    • Don’t pick at a fresh tattoo! let it be until it is fully healed, picking at a fresh tattoo can delay healing, cause fading and increase chances of infection.

    • Stay away from sun, sun exposure on a fresh tattoo can be damaging, sun-cream and other lotions shouldn’t be applied until it is fully healed.

    • Stay away from water, all bodies of water can contain harmful bacteria which can ruin your new tattoo. Stay away from chlorinated pools, lakes, ocean water, baths/ Stick to short showers until your skin is fully healed.

Keeping all of these points in mind is essential to healing your new tattoo well, if you have any other questions don’t hesitate to reach out.

  • Yes! We offer cover-up tattoos. All cover up tattoos require a prior consultation so that we can see the design that needs to be covered, and discuss ideas for how to cover your tattoo.

  • Each artist has pre-drawn flash designs that are available to choose from in the shop if you cant decide on what design to get next.
